This guy is not his parents' keeper! He would also be the first person to say that. For those of you who are type A like myself, being surrounded by folks who have no sense of timeliness can be as anxiety-inducing as the impending apocalypse. Sure, that may not make any logical sense but many of you probably know what I'm talking about. This guy certainly does.
He shared his story via this thread on Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit and discussed how his parents are always late to every single event. When it came to his sister's wedding, he decided to go off to the church on his own so as to not miss anything. Of course, his parents showed up 30 minutes late, and now everyone (including the bride) is now blaming the Redditor for not being responsible for them. If they had asked him to make sure they got to the wedding on time, that might be a different story. However, the fact that the parents were incredibly late to their own daughter's wedding is 100% on them. To the original poster: we respect you.
